Jepang Sudah Bebas Visa, Langsung Diserbu Turis

Jepang - Jepang kembali membuka perbatasan dan mengizinkan turis masuk dengan bebas visa. Suasana di bandara pun tampak dipenuhi wisatawan mancanegara.

Jepang kembali membuka perbatasan dan mengizinkan turis masuk dengan bebas visa.

Program bebas visa mengalami penangguhan pada Maret 2020 akibat pandemi. Setelah hampir tiga tahun ditangguhkan, akhirnya Jepang kembali memberikan bebas visa yang akan dimulai pada 11 Oktober 2022.

Jepang juga berencana meluncurkan kampanye untuk menawarkan diskon perjalanan domestik dan diskon event kepada penduduk Jepang. Hal ini diharapkan dapat mendongkrak sektor hotel, perjalanan dan hiburan yang mengalami pukulan hebat selama pandemi.

Langkah ini menandai perubahan kebijakan besar setelah hampir 2,5 tahun pembatasan ketat Covid-19.

Sebelumnya, wisatawan membutuhkan visa khusus untuk masuk ke Jepang. Turis hanya bisa masuk Jepang melalui paket wisata atau tur, dengan batas harian ditetapkan 50 ribu wisatawan di tengah pandemi COVID-19.
