Paris - Patung ayam jantan penghias Katedral Notre Dame jatuh ke tanah saat kebakaran yang meruntuhkan atap pada April 2019. Patung itu diganti baru dan dipamerkan.

Kurator yang bertanggung jawab atas Galerie des moulages di Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine, Isabelle Marquette, memasang panel kaca di sekeliling ayam jago ikonik yang pernah berada di puncak menara katedral Notre-Dame di Paris, Jumat, 15 Desember 2023.

Ayam jantan ikonik yang menghiasi Notre Dame itu jatuh ke tanah dalam kebakaran pada bulan April 2019 yang merobohkan puncak menara dan menghanguskan atap.

Patung ayam tersebut merupakan salah satu artefak syarat sejarah yang berhasil diselamatkan dari kebakaran 2019 silam.

Notre Dame rencananya akan dibuka lagi akhir tahun depan bagi umat Katolik dan umum.
