Bali - Makepung adalah lomba pacuan kerbau tradisional Bali yang dirayakan oleh masyarakat Kabupaten Jembrana, Bali. Yuk lihat.

Makepung adalah lomba pacuan kerbau tradisional Bali yang dirayakan oleh masyarakat Kabupaten Jembrana, Bali, untuk menandai berakhirnya musim panen.

Tradisi budaya ini mendorong penduduk setempat untuk mengembangbiakkan kerbau yang paling sehat, tidak hanya untuk lomba tetapi juga untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian.

Selama lomba, para joki memegang ekor kerbau dan meluncur tanpa alas kaki di sepanjang sawah sambil menjaga keseimbangan di atas papan kayu, memamerkan kekuatan hewan mereka.

Kerbau-kerbau tersebut kemudian dilelang kepada pembeli, dengan kompetisi yang difokuskan untuk menemukan pasangan tercepat dan tercantik.

Kerbau-kerbau tersebut dihiasi dengan bunga, emas, dan kain, diiringi dengan musik tradisional Bali yang meningkatkan suasana kemeriahan acara tersebut.
