Jepang - Di Hoshinoya Tokyo, pengunjung akan makan di dalam lentera. Inovasi ini memungkinkan pengunjung menikmati makanan sekaligus melindungi diri mereka dari COVID-19

Staf hotel mendemonstrasikan 'Lantern Dining Experience' di Hoshinoya Tokyo di Tokyo, Jepang, Rabu (2/2/2022) waktu setempat.

'Lantern Dining Experience' merupakan inovasi restoran yang memungkinkan pengunjung menikmati makanan sekaligus melindungi diri mereka dari penyebaran penyakit virus corona (COVID-19).

Setiap pengunjung akan dilindungi dengan partisi transparan berbentuk lentera.

Ini bukan lentera biasa. Dengan tinggi 102cm dan diameter 75 cm, lentera dibuat khusus untuk Hoshinoya oleh pengrajin lentera lama di Kyoto bernama Kojima Shouten.

Dengan lentera ini para pengunjung bisa makan dan mengobrol tanpa khawatir melepas masker.

Sementara makan malam lentera hanya ditujukan untuk satu kelompok orang per malam dengan reservasi hanya tersedia untuk tamu hotel, mereka yang menginap di Hoshinoya Tokyo memiliki pilihan untuk mengundang dua teman yang tidak menginap.
