Hong Kong - Bak manusia, kelinci juga bisa menikmati fasilitas hotel. Khususnya di Hong Kong, ada resor mewah untuk kelinci yang ditinggal pemiliknya liburan.

Anggota staf menurunkan kelinci dari pelanggan yang datang di Bunny Style Hotel di Hong Kong, Rabu (18/1/2023). Dengan pencabutan pembatasan COVID, warga Hong Kong bepergian lagi saat libur Imlek dan beberapa dari mereka yang memelihara kelinci menitipkannya di resor kelinci.

Donna Li, pemilik Bunny Style, mengatakan bahwa “resor” miliknya sudah penuh bahkan sebelum liburan Imlek dimulai.

Li, yang juga memelihara kelinci, membuat Bunny Style pada Juni 2022. Awalnya hanya sebuah ruangan kecil dengan suhu yang didesesuaikan untuk kelinci. Ketika pemerintah Hong Kong mengurangi pembatasan COVID-19 di September, Li menyewa ruangan lebih besar. Saat ini, Li dan pegawainya bisa mengurusi lebih dari 15 kelinci.

Fasilitas yang diberikan Li terhadap kelinci-kelinci itu benar-benar mewah. Selain menyikat rambut, memotong kuku, dan mengajak kelinci berolahraga, menu makanan kelinci-kelinci tersebut juga spesifik. Misalnya sayur jenis tertentu, atau bahkan kue atau cake khusus kelinci.

Li juga mengirimkan video bahkan livestreaming kondisi hewan peliharaan kepada pemiliknya.

Popularitas hewan peliharaan di Hong Kong memang terus meningkat. Bahkan, sejumlah pemilik kewalahan karena terlalu banyak hewan peliharaan. Maka, ada tempat penampungan seperti Tolobunny yang menampung puluhan kelinci yang ditinggalkanpemiliknya.
