Belanda - Tradisi pasar keju Gouda kembali digelar di pelataran balaikota Gouda, Belanda. Keju Gouda merupakan keju yang paling terkenal di Belanda.

Orang-orang berpakaian tradisional membuka pasar keju Gouda di Gouda, Belanda, Kamis (17/8/2023).

Keju Gouda merupakan keju yang paling terkenal di Belanda. Popularitas keju Gouda memang bermula dari kota Gouda. Kota ini terletak di provinsi Zuid Holland berpenduduk 71.799 jiwa. Yang juga membuat kota Gouda menarik untuk dikunjungi, karena di kota ini terdapat toko sekaligus pabrik wafel tertua di Belanda.

Keju Gouda tercatat sebagai salah satu keju tertua yang masih terus dibuat. Keju Gouda pertama kali disebut pada tahun 1184. Meskipun sekarang sudah ada teknologi modern, tapi di Belanda ada sekitar 300 petani Belanda yang masih melestarikan cara pembuatan keju Gouda ini secara tradisional.

Pasar Keju Gouda pun selalu digelar meriah dan sudah menjadi tradisi selama 900 tahun.
