Defile itu akan melintas rute sepanjang enam kilometer di Sungai Seine. Rute parade dimulai dari jebatan Austerlitz disamping Jardins du Trocadero dan melewati beberapa tempat bersejarah seperti Ile Saint Louis dan Ile de la Cite.
