Budapest - Seorang seniman sirkus Hungaria menyeberangi sungai Danube dengan menggunakan tali di Budapest. Aksi tersebut untuk memperingati Hari Sirkus Dunia.

Seniman sirkus berusia 63 tahun Laszlo Simet berjalan di atas tali melintasi dua tepi sungai Danube di pusat kota Budapest pada Sabtu(15/4/2023).

Simet's adalah orang pertama yang menyeberangi Danube selebar hampir 300 meter tanpa tali pengaman di ketinggian 30 meter.

Simet menyeberangi sungai tersebut dengan berjalan di atas tali sepanjang 22 milimeter yang membentang di antara sisi Buda dan Pest ibu kota Hongaria.

Simet menyeimbangkan diri saat ia berjalan di atas tali kawat untuk menyeberangi Sungai Danube untuk menandai Hari Sirkus Dunia. AP/Zoltan Balogh

Aksi tersebut juga bertepatan dengan acara pembukaan Olimpiade Teater ke-10 di Budapest

Setelah berhasil, Simet memeluk keluarganya dan terlihat lega.
